Jimmy returned to the office after the meeting. Despite the multitude of issues over the past few months, his time spent in the office wasn't much less than when he was with the Support Team. Ruiz's reminder to Jimmy was effective. As a leader, he had to act like one. This wasn't the Homicide Team from before with only a few members; most of his time was spent arranging tasks for others instead of taking the lead himself.

It was hard for him to say whether these days were good or bad, but Kevin was quite satisfied with his current state. The Anti-black Group was a genuine department of power, and the resources it commanded were incomparable to before. Sitting in an office was a necessary step towards promotion, at least in most people's eyes, someone in this position should be like this.

When Jimmy received the news, the surveillance team had reached the residential area where the target vehicles vanished. Evidently, finding those cars here was difficult, and they could only monitor back and forth while asking the command center to check surrounding intersection surveillance, hoping they might appear.

The next morning, Jimmy arrived at the meeting room for a session focused on last night's underground casino robbery. The casino was MS13's, but they had seemingly temporarily abandoned arranging senior members there, leaving only some ground-level staff maintaining order. Last night, three people came in, robbing them, shooting and injuring three, with one declared dead shortly after being rushed to the hospital due to severe injuries.

NYPD had already received notification from the FBI, with the case handed over to the FBI for processing.

The surveillance camera placed by the surveillance team outside the underground casino entrance somewhat far away recorded the opponent approaching the entrance, waiting for several minutes, and then rushing in to quickly finish and escape. They successfully identified a suspected gang, narrowing the suspect range considerably. The FBI had informants to consult, and based on the descriptions and appearances, they quickly nailed down one suspect.

Perhaps MS13's disappearance annoyed Jimmy. Upon target confirmation, he led a team for the capture. For those at lower levels, capturing them was sometimes easy.
