Damian Sinclair helped Bella Acker up, while Old Mr. Langdon was already approaching.

Someone causing a scene at a party hosted by the Langdon Family, of course, did not sit well with Old Mr. Langdon, "Lynch, what’s going on here?"

Calling Damian Sinclair by his first name, Damian, and addressing Jaden Lynch as Lynch, the distinction in familiarity was clear.

Jaden Lynch hadn’t expected that handling a woman and a child could cause such a commotion. He dared to ignore Aunt Rhodes, but in front of Old Mr. Langdon, he wouldn’t dare be impudent. Besides, what was up with Damian Sinclair next to him? Why did he reach out to help that woman?

Suddenly, a thought flashed through Jaden Lynch’s mind, startling him so much that he didn’t dare think about it any further, choosing instead to face Old Mr. Langdon and say, "Old Mr. Langdon, let me explain. This is just a small misunderstanding, I didn’t expect it would alarm you and everyone else, I’m truly sorry. As the younger generation, I apologize to you here."

Old Mr. Langdon looked at Jaden Lynch with suspicion, then turned to look at Damian Sinclair. He wanted to let the incident pass, but seeing Damian Sinclair’s expression, it was evidently impossible.

Old Mr. Langdon would rather offend the Lynch Family than the Sinclair Family, so upon hearing this, his attitude did not soften but instead grew more severe, "Lynch, you say it’s a small misunderstanding, then look at the injury on the young lady’s arm."

Bella Acker’s coat had fallen into the flowerbed earlier, and thankfully it served as a cushion, otherwise, the scrapes on her body might have been much worse.

Jaden Lynch was taken aback, clearly not expecting Old Mr. Langdon to not just let the matter slide. Could the fleeting thought in his mind actually be true?

"Old Mr. Langdon, I..." Jaden Lynch was just about to sincerely explain further when Cecilia Lynch walked in from the crowd.

Cecilia Lynch first glanced at Bella Acker, who was being supported by Damian Sinclair, frowned, and walked over to Jaden Lynch’s side, asking, "Brother, what happened? Did you push Bella Acker?"

"Bella Acker?" Jaden Lynch was momentarily stunned, then realized who his sister was talking about. He quickly pulled her close, whispering, "Who exactly is this Bella Acker? She’s not Damian Sinclair’s woman, is she?"

"You guessed it." Cecilia Lynch frowned, "Why would you get into it with a woman like her?"

"Oh my god, I didn’t know she was Damian Sinclair’s woman. If I had known, even if you gave me ten more lives, I wouldn’t dare lay a hand on her." Jaden Lynch was a bit panicked, "Sister, you’ve always been closer to the Sinclair Family, you have to help me this time. If Dad finds out about this, I’ll be in deep trouble."

"Even if she wasn’t Damian’s woman, you still shouldn’t lay hands on a woman." Cecilia Lynch said, displeased.
